About The Position
Since 1985, Fox Subacute has specialized in pulmonary, neurological, and rehabilitative care for patients with degenerative neurological and neuromuscular conditions. We are recognized for providing high-quality care to tracheostomy and ventilator-dependent residents in both short-term and long-term rehabilitation settings. We are looking for candidates with strong clinical and critical thinking skills, a superior work ethic, and the ability to communicate well with all members of the multidisciplinary team from MDs, Licensed Nurses, Respiratory Therapists, Certified Nursing Assistants, etc. There are 2 Night shift openings and 1 Day shift opening, both are 12-hour shifts.
Requirements
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
- Strong communication, observation, and teamwork skills
- Compassionate, reliable, and punctual demeanor
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Ability to commute or relocate to Philadelphia, PA 19145 prior to start date
- English proficiency preferred
Nice To Haves
- Previous healthcare or skilled nursing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and ethical care to residents
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Observe, document, and report changes in resident condition
- Support nurses and respiratory therapists with resident care needs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful care environment
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and care team members
