Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
About The Position
Life Care Center of Longmont is seeking a qualified Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their team. They offer various shifts including days, evenings, and nights, with options for full-time, part-time, and PRN (as needed) positions, all with 8-hour shifts. As a member of an interdisciplinary team, the CNA will provide direct daily nursing care to assigned patients, including bathing, feeding, grooming, and toileting, in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of a State-approved CNA program
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
Nice To Haves
- One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
- Deliver direct care to patients (bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting, etc.) as directed.
- Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
- Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
