About The Position

Riverside Lifelong Health & Rehabilitation Mathews is currently hiring for a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their care team in Mathews, VA. Nights and Evening shifts are available, offering 8-hour shifts with rotating weekends, and include shift and location differentials. The position is eligible for a $2,000 Sign on Bonus. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) works under the supervision of a Nursing Manager, Supervisor, RN, or LPN, and is ultimately responsible to the Director and Assistant Director of Nursing. The role involves performing tasks essential to the direct care of residents according to facility policy and procedures. Requirements

CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 30 Days
Certified Nurse Aid (CNA) - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) within 120 Days

Responsibilities

Allows resident choices within limits of capability considering safety /dignity issues and follows policies and procedures of facility to include resident privacy and dignity.
Assists with ensuring hygiene, appearance, safety and nutritional needs of residents are met.
Provides resident care and services to maintain or improve resident functional status to highest practical ability.
Documents accurately in EMR resident's ADL care, personal hygiene, bowel and bladder habits, and behaviors.
Follows universal precautions, proper infection control, sanitation and safety standards of practice in all work and activities.
