About The Position

Life Care Centers of America facilities operate Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) that provide long-term care for residents requiring ongoing skilled support and compassionate daily assistance, as well as short-term, sub-acute rehabilitation for patients recovering from surgery, illness, or injury. We utilize a collaborative care approach through an interdisciplinary team, including nursing, therapy, and medical staff. Our diverse patient population includes individuals with orthopedic, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and post-acute needs. As a therapy professional, you will help patients achieve functional progress and improve their quality of life in a supportive, patient-centered environment. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.

Nice To Haves

• One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
• Deliver direct care to patients, including bathing, feeding, grooming, and toileting, as directed.
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
