About The Position
This role involves providing direct care to residents, assisting them with daily living activities, ensuring their safety and comfort, and supporting the nursing staff. The CNA will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment and observing residents for any changes in their condition.
Requirements
- Active CNA certification in the applicable state.
- Compassionate and patient-focused.
- Strong observational and communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting.
- Help residents move around the facility safely.
- Take and record vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Provide companionship and build trusting relationships with residents.
- Report any significant changes in residents' condition to nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
