Requirements

Active New York State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Ability to frequently lift and transfer clients averaging approximately 150 lbs, with or without assistance
English proficiency sufficient to perform CNA duties and communicate effectively with patients and staff
Authorization to work in the United States
Ability to travel to assigned facilities within approximately 25 miles of the Albany/Clifton Park/Scotia (Glenville) area

Nice To Haves

Hands-on CNA experience taking and recording patient vital signs
Experience providing dementia care as a CNA
Experience providing catheter care as a CNA
Experience using a Hoyer lift and performing safe patient transfers
Experience working as a CNA in facility-based care settings (such as nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, or adult day care)
Reliable transportation

Responsibilities

Assist residents and patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding
Support patient mobility, including transfers, repositioning, and use of assistive devices
Provide comfort, companionship, and respectful care tailored to individual needs
Maintain a clean and safe care environment by following infection-control and safety procedures
