About The Position

Life Care Centers of America facilities operate as Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) that provide long term care for residents who require ongoing skilled support and compassionate daily assistance, and short term, sub-acute rehabilitation for patients recovering from surgery, illness, or injury. They utilize a collaborative care approach through an interdisciplinary team with nursing, therapy, and medical staff working together. The patient population includes individuals with orthopedic, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and post-acute needs. The company is affiliated with Life Care Centers of America, a privately owned industry leader in healthcare with over 200 locations. This role is responsible for providing routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. The CNA will deliver direct care to patients including bathing, feeding, grooming, and toileting as directed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.

Nice To Haves

• One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
• Deliver direct care to patients (bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting, etc.) as directed.
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
