We are hiring for a part-time night shift (10:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.) with the following rotating schedule: Week 1: Sunday, Friday, Saturday Week 2: Saturday. Consistent availability for this schedule is required and is an essential function of the role. Requirements

  • Must possess a current Nurse’s Aide Certification
  • Must have ability to read, write, and speak the English language
  • Must be able to demonstrate computer competency including electronic medical records charting and company e-mail

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 1-year experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Performs transferring, positioning and ambulation utilizing appropriate equipment per standards of practice and with patient safety as priority.
  • Understands good body mechanics and use of safety transfer devices to prevent injury to self and patient.
  • Completes documentation in an accurate and timely manner per organizational standards using electronic medical record.
  • Observes and reports the resident’s condition or changes to immediate supervisor.
  • Follows individual patient care plans to provide assistance with all activities of daily living.
  • Responds to call lights in a timely manner that meets organizational standards.
  • Takes and records all vitals as required.
  • Maintains residents’ rooms to provide a clean, safe and accessible environment.
  • Attends staff meetings, In-Service training and continuing education.
  • Completes on-line as assigned.
  • Assists in the dining room and contributes to a pleasurable dining experience for the residents.
  • Completes other duties as assigned.
