This is a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position with day shifts. The role involves assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) skillfully and with consideration for their individual needs. Responsibilities include providing personal hygiene, implementing skin care measures, assisting with assistive devices for ambulation, dressing, and eating, and promoting residents' participation in activities. The CNA will provide care as outlined in the Negotiated Service Plan, perform basic technical skills, assist with nutrition and fluid intake, and follow procedures for bladder and bowel elimination/retraining. The role also involves monitoring vital signs, weight, intake, and output, managing supplies, reporting maintenance needs, supporting facility policies, completing cleaning tasks, providing care for dying residents and postmortem care, and orienting new staff members.
