About The Position

Bartlett Regional Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their Wildflower Court team. Wildflower Court is Bartlett's Long-Term Care Facility. This position offers two levels: CNA 1, an entry-level role focused on basic direct patient care and activities of daily living under supervision, and CNA 2, which involves independently performing the full range of CNA duties, recognizing and communicating changes in patient condition, and supporting care planning through observations and communication. All new employees must provide a negative drug screen for illegal substances in the State of Alaska prior to employment.

Requirements

• Current State of Alaska Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License
• CNA 1: No prior experience required.
• CNA 2: Three (3) Months of experience and checked off on all competencies.
• Must produce a negative drug screen for all illegal substances in the State of Alaska prior to the start of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living under close supervision of licensed nursing staff (CNA 1).
• Develops competence in foundational CNA skills, safe patient handling, infection prevention, and accurate observation and reporting (CNA 1).
• Builds consistency, confidence, and efficiency in routine care delivery (CNA 1).
• Independently performs the full range of CNA duties for assigned patients/residents (CNA 2).
• Delivers safe, compassionate care and reliably recognizes and communicates changes in patient/resident condition (CNA 2).
• Demonstrates consistent proficiency in ADLs, mobility assistance, vital signs, and documentation (CNA 2).
• Serves as a dependable member of the care team who supports care planning through accurate observations and effective communication (CNA 2).
