About The Position

This position involves providing direct care to residents under the guidance of licensed nursing staff. Key responsibilities include assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, as well as aiding with mobility and transfers using appropriate techniques. The Certified Nursing Assistant is expected to observe and report any changes in residents' physical and emotional conditions to the nursing staff. The role also includes assisting with meal service, maintaining a clean and safe living environment for residents by changing linens, making beds, and tidying living areas, and participating in resident activities and socialization opportunities. Accurate documentation of resident care and observations is required, along with providing medication oversight for medication administration.

Requirements

Current certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) is required.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in assisted living or long-term care is preferred.
