About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant performs patient-oriented procedures under the supervision of a RN, LPN, and/or physician. This includes directing patients to exam/treatment rooms, preparing them for examinations and procedures, taking vital signs, documenting reasons for appointments, assisting physicians with procedures, and instructing patients in appropriate procedures. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 7 – 11 months related experience and/or training

Responsibilities

  • Direct patient to proper exam/treatment room; prepare patients for examinations and procedures
  • Take vital signs, and document patients’ reason for appointment
  • Assist physician with procedures as directed
  • Instruct patients in all appropriate procedures
