About The Position
Bethlehem Woods is offering a FREE Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training program, turning your caring spirit into a career. This program requires no previous experience, only a commitment to providing compassionate care. The training spans approximately two weeks, including 30 hours of classroom work and 45 hours of hands-on clinical training. Upon completion and passing the state test, graduates will have opportunities at ASC's 100 locations across Indiana, with further career advancement pathways available.
Requirements
- Commitment to providing compassionate care to residents.
- Completion of the Nurse Aide training program and testing.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with bathing, dressing and grooming tasks such as hair care, brushing teeth and shaving.
- Helping residents at mealtimes, including transporting them to the dining room and assisting them with eating and drinking.
- Repositioning and transferring residents from a bed to a wheelchair or from a wheelchair to the toilet.
- Obtaining resident vital signs, such as heart rate and blood pressure, and recording observations.
- Answering patient call lights and assisting in fulfilling requests.
- Building meaningful relationships with our residents, providing not only care but companionship.
