About The Position

We are offering a FREE Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Program designed to help you gain the skills and certification needed to begin a rewarding career in healthcare. This program provides hands-on training, classroom instruction, and support through the state testing process to help you become a licensed CNA in Washington State.

Requirements

• Must pass a background check
• Must attend registration and 100% of scheduled classes
• Training must be completed in person
• Must possess a minimum of a 10th-grade education.
• 18 years old
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Effectively communicate necessary resident information to Charge Nurses, Director of Nursing and/or Administrator.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certified preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Support residents during meals, social activities, and appointments
• Monitor resident wellbeing and report any changes in condition
• Follow individualized care plans to ensure quality care
• Create a warm, respectful, and supportive environment for residents
• Prepare resident rooms and ensure residents are comfortable and safe
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team
