About The Position
Van Dyk Park Place is looking for a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dedicated Memory Care team in our Assisted Living community in Hawthorne, NJ. If you have a heart for seniors and experience supporting residents with dementia or Alzheimer’s, we would love to meet you.
Requirements
- Valid NJ CNA certification required
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and provide resident-centered care in a busy assisted living setting
Nice To Haves
- Memory care, dementia, or Alzheimer’s experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support with activities of daily living, meals, mobility, engagement, and daily routines.
- Help create a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for our residents.
- Observe resident needs and communicate changes to the nursing and care team.
