About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Assisted Living role at The Shores in Ocean City involves supporting residents with personal care activities, delivering care based on individualized service plans, providing ongoing resident support, assisting with dining and mobility, and fostering meaningful resident connections. The position is part of a collaborative interdisciplinary care team.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Active New Jersey CNA certification
- Negative pre-employment drug test
- Annual flu vaccination (medical and religious exemptions available)
- Ability to produce a negative drug test
- Ability to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position

Responsibilities
- Support residents with personal care activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and daily routines
- Deliver care based on individualized service plans while maintaining accurate records
- Provide ongoing resident support through routine wellness checks and attentive care
- Assist with dining support, transfers, ambulation, and use of mobility aids as needed
- Foster meaningful resident connections and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team
