A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT / CNA In this full- or part-time senior care position, you assist our residents with day-to-day tasks so they can live richer, fuller lives. You do more than help residents with bathing, dressing, toileting, and getting them to meals. You also develop personal relationships with them, so you can provide our residents with companionship and a conversation partner. You are a caring person who is not only a caregiver but also a friend. After visiting with residents, you document the services that were delivered as well as report any significant changes that occurred. Anytime the nurse on duty presents you with a new task, you happily accept and promptly get it done. You work hard to ensure the sanitation and health standards of our senior living facility are always met, providing our residents with a comfortable stay. Requirements

CNA certification and/or Med Tech certification
A heart for serving seniors
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to show empathy while maintaining professional boundaries
Trustworthy, respectful, and guided by integrity

Responsibilities

Assist residents with day-to-day tasks such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
Escort residents to meals.
Develop personal relationships with residents, providing companionship and conversation.
Document services delivered and report any significant changes in resident condition.
Accept and complete new tasks presented by the nurse on duty.
Ensure sanitation and health standards of the senior living facility are met.
