About The Position
SummitWest Care is a local nonprofit home care agency seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to support clients throughout Mesa County. Home care offers a rewarding alternative to facility and clinical settings, allowing CNAs to work with clients one-on-one in their homes to help them maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life. This role is suitable for individuals experienced in healthcare or those beginning their caregiving career.
Requirements
- Active Colorado Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
- Dependable, compassionate, and professional approach to care
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently while remaining connected to the care team
Nice To Haves
- Experience in home health, long-term care, assisted living, hospice, or related healthcare settings
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
- Observe and report changes in client condition
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with light housekeeping and homemaking tasks
- Follow individualized care plans to support safety and independence
- Document services and communicate with care team
