We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate CNA to join our Float team, where you’ll play a vital role in delivering high‑quality patient care within a collaborative and supportive environment. Position is responsible for adhering to all standards of nursing care, and for promoting teamwork among co-workers.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Current Oklahoma Certified Nurse Aide license.
- BLS is required prior to beginning orientation or working on a floor.
- One (1) year full or part-time (greater than 20 hours per week) hospital-based experience required.
- Basic computer skills required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living i.e., bathing, skin care, dressing, feeding, ambulating, transporting, and bed changing.
- Take and record vital signs, finger stick, blood sugar and I&O’s, apply ice bags, aqua K pads, and maintain continuous bladder irrigations.
- Complete or review worksheet of assignments for patient care within 30 minutes of shift change.
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care based on physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and related criteria appropriate to the age of patients served in his/her assigned service area.
- Obtains and documents vital signs as instructed per nurse.
