This position is responsible for providing licensed nursing services to residents, following the guidelines provided by Senior Lifestyle Corporation. This position reports to the Director of Nursing/Health and Wellness Director and may be required to supervise other staff positions. The role involves taking and recording vital signs, measuring and recording height and weight, recognizing and reporting abnormal changes in body functioning, assisting with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living. The CNA will also transfer, position, and turn residents, provide skin care, contribute to resident assessments and care plans, and care for residents with dementia. The position requires following a schedule of resident needs, providing emotional and social support, and promoting resident rights, dignity, and independence. The CNA must be familiar with emergency equipment and procedures, understand duties during fire drills, and attend all required training. Maintaining a safe working environment, a positive and professional demeanor, and adhering to all company policies and procedures are essential. Other duties may be assigned.
