About The Position

This is a Part Time Certified Nursing Assistant/Caregiver position with a shift from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, working every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday). This role involves 16 hours bi-weekly and focuses on providing care and programming according to an individualized interdisciplinary plan of care, including the Resident Summary. The caregiver is responsible for the activities, recreation, exercise, and psycho-social needs of daily living of residents, collaboratively focusing on their choices and needs. The position requires strong communication skills, teamwork, and adherence to compliance policies, regulatory standards, and safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be registered in the state of PA.
  • Must be available for shifts every other weekend.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in development and updating of residents individualized interdisciplinary plans of care including Resident Summary.
  • Provides care and programming according to the plan of care.
  • Responsible for the activities, recreation, exercise, and psycho-social needs of daily living of residents and collaboratively focuses on their choices and needs.
  • Reports to the Household Team Leader at the beginning of the shift and before going off duty.
  • Reports faulty equipment to maintenance, Director of Nursing and the Administrator for Healthcare, and tags faulty equipment and removes it from service.
  • Responds to resident call bells and alarms and supports the residents within their scope of practice.
  • Observes and reports pertinent information, abnormal conditions, safety concerns and changes in residents conditions to the Household Team Leader in a timely manner.
