About The Position

Our Lady of Mercy Life Center (OLOM) is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their progressive team. This role involves performing direct and indirect patient care tasks, as well as assisting with clerical and support tasks to ensure quality patient care and efficient unit operations. OLOM utilizes innovative technologies like Smart Cell Flooring to reduce patient falls and an Artificial Sky for the Memory Care unit. The sub-acute unit offers opportunities to gain clinical experience to advance nursing practice. Requirements

• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• High School Diploma or equivalent life-experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a sincere desire to serve others.
• Must be able to relay information concerning a resident's condition.
• Must have patience, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
• Must possess the ability to work professionally with other staff, residents, family members, and outside agencies/visitors.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct and indirect patient care tasks.
• Assist with clerical and other support tasks to ensure quality patient care and efficient operation of patient care units.
