About The Position
Under direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, assists the nursing staff in performing routine nursing care duties, and to provide assistance in the care of patients and their environments. Requirements
- Graduation from high school or equivalent.
- Six (6) months of clinical experience.
- Valid Certification by the State of Nevada Board of Nursing as a Nursing Assistant.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of one (1) year recent (within past 5 years), documented experience in burn/wound care to include dressing skills.
- Experience working directly with a WOCN team.
- Experience in an Acute Care/Ambulatory Setting.
