About The Position

The Certified Nursing Aide assists nursing personnel in providing professional, quality, nursing care under the direction and supervision of a professional nurse following established policies and procedures. This 1st shift position, Monday-Friday, for FULL TIME hours, NO WEEKENDS, as the weekend is currently covered with weekend package staff!

Requirements

  • Certified Nursing Aide certification

Responsibilities

  • Provides great quality resident care and completes assigned duties.
  • Treats resident information as confidential material.
  • Charts all required information on the Electronic Health Record.
  • Orients and teaches new personnel routine operations and duties following checklist.
  • Reports to work on time, provides advanced notice of need for absence and attempts to find replacement if calling off.
  • Consistently performs at a high level; manages time and workload effectively to meet responsibilities and duties needed for job role.
  • Dependable to co-workers assigned on shift with.
  • Written and oral communications are clear, organized, and effective; listens and comprehends well.
  • Carries Walkie Talkie and Arial Call Light Phone to communicate with team and for others to communicate with you.
  • Gives/Receives report for oncoming shift.
  • Makes thoughtful, well-reasoned decisions; exercises good judgement, resourcefulness and creativity in problem solving.
  • Always keeps safety as a priority.
  • Demonstrates initiative; often seeking out additional responsibilities.
  • Identifies problems and solutions; thrives on new challenges and adjusts to unexpected changes.
  • Flexible to all hall assignments.
  • Respectful and kind to all co-workers, supervisors, and families and makes valuable contributions to help group achieve its goals.
