About The Position
Priority Management seeks a Certified Nursing Aide to assist residents with activities of daily living, promoting their independence and dignity. The role supports resident safety and provides compassionate care in a nursing and rehabilitation setting. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Current Nurse Aide certification and good standing with the State of Texas Nurse Aide Registry.
- Ability to understand, remember, and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.
- Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents.
Responsibilities
- Help residents with activities of daily living while promoting independence and dignity.
- Assure resident safety.
- Bathe, shower, shampoo, shave, comb hair, dress residents appropriately, and provide nail care to assigned residents.
- Follow the resident assignment schedule established by the charge nurse.
- Lift, move, and transfer residents as required.
- Answer call lights in a timely manner.
- Assist residents with eating or feed them.
- Keep residents clean and dry, including toileting and providing incontinence care.
- Provide supportive, protective, and safe environments for residents.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
