About The Position
The Certified Nursing Aide provides individualized resident care according to each resident’s care plan. The role supports residents with activities of daily living while promoting their independence and dignity, communicates changes in health status to the clinical team, and builds compassionate, positive connections with residents and families. The aide also participates in learning and development activities and maintains the confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan.
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), promoting independence and maintaining dignity.
- Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team.
- Connect with residents and family members compassionately to create a positive experience.
- Attend and participate in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences.
- Comply with rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
