Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) - 3rd shift
About The Position
The Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) position at John M. Evans Supportive Living in Pekin, IL, is a full-time role for the 3rd shift, with an hourly salary ranging from $18.00 to $19.00. This role is responsible for providing exceptional and individualized care based on each resident's care plan, assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and dignity, and reporting changes in resident health status to the clinical team. The CNA will also connect with residents and family members compassionately, engage in continuous learning through educational seminars and staff meetings, and comply with all confidentiality and privacy regulations regarding resident information. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
- High School graduate or GED equivalent required
- Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional and individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan
- Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity
- Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team
- Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience
- Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences
- Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information
- Perform any other duties as assigned
