About The Position

This is a full-time nights position (36 hours/week) on the ICU Step-Down Unit (TCU), located on the sixth floor of the Tower at Freeman Hospital West. The unit is a 20-bed ICU step-down unit that provides care for high acuity patients requiring close monitoring, with a strong focus on the 'why' behind patient care.

Requirements

• Active Missouri Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 60 days.
• Must successfully pass Patient Care Orientation (PCO) within 30 days of hire.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training Program (CPI) within 365 days.
• NT Competency Day annually by transcript due date.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction/supervision of a nurse, provides basic nursing care needs for assigned patients.
