About The Position

As a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) with Intermountain Health, you will join Southridge OB/GYN in Riverton, Utah. This is a full-time position within a group practice that includes 6 CNMs, 2 WHNPs, 4 OBGYN Physicians, and 3 OB Hospitalists. The CNM will provide comprehensive health care for women, emphasizing wellness and patient choice, supporting various childbirth decisions. Responsibilities include providing care in the clinic, attending births, and rounding with mother/baby and antepartum patients in the hospital. CNMs work at the top of their scope of licensure, managing inpatient care from admission to discharge. The role operates within a highly collaborative model, with consistent consultation and collaboration among practice members. The schedule includes outpatient clinic duties and rotating 24-hour call shifts. Both experienced CNMs and new graduates will be considered.

Requirements

• CNM degree from an accredited program
• Current Utah state license as a Certified Nurse Midwife
• Board Certification as a Nurse Midwife
• Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the ability to obtain one
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
• BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers
