About The Position

A large community healthcare organization in the Puget Sound area of Western Washington is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (ARNP or PA-C) to join its primary care team. This is an excellent opportunity for an advanced practice provider who enjoys comprehensive, patient-centered primary care and wants to make a meaningful impact within a diverse community. You’ll work as part of a collaborative healthcare team focused on treating illness, managing ongoing health needs, promoting prevention, and helping patients achieve better long-term health outcomes. The Advanced Practice Provider will provide comprehensive primary medical care within an established community health setting. The APP will evaluate patients, diagnose and treat medical conditions, provide preventive care, perform appropriate procedures, and coordinate specialty care when needed.

Requirements

  • Active Washington State ARNP or PA-C license required
  • Active DEA registration required
  • Current CPR certification required
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to meet applicable medication-assisted treatment training requirements
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to practice independently while working effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Review medical histories, examinations, diagnostic testing, and other clinical information
  • Develop appropriate treatment and ongoing care plans
  • Provide preventive care and counsel patients regarding nutrition, healthy behaviors, and disease prevention
  • Perform procedures within individual clinical competencies and privileges
  • Prescribe medications and treatments within applicable scope of practice
  • Refer patients to specialists and coordinate care when appropriate
  • Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team
  • Participate in community outreach efforts as needed
  • Share in after-hours call coverage as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record
