Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) needed in Nacogdoches, TX
About The Position
Nacogdoches Medical Center is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to join its women's health team in Nacogdoches, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care in a collaborative healthcare environment while supporting women throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care. The role involves a combination of outpatient clinic responsibilities and inpatient patient care coverage, collaborating closely with physicians, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary care teams. The Certified Nurse Midwife will care for patients across the full spectrum of women's health services and join an established medical center serving East Texas communities.
Requirements
- Graduate of ACNM approved school of nurse-midwifery.
- Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy.
- ACNM certification.
- Additional certification(s) per governing board and in accordance with the facility Medical Staff Bylaws.
Responsibilities
- Provide nurse midwifery care delivered to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum, and newborn patients.
- Provide prenatal, labor and delivery, postpartum, and gynecological care.
- Combination of outpatient clinic responsibilities and inpatient patient care coverage.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary care teams.
- Care for patients across the full spectrum of women's health services.
