About The Position
ProMedica Physicians Group (PPG) is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to join the Center For Health Servcies- Women's in Toledo, Ohio. This is a teaching facility for NP & Midwifery, medical students and residents, with 20 midwives in the group (10 practice, 10 OB ER/laborist). The role involves 36 hours per week in OB ER/laborist with a variable weekly schedule including 12-24 hour shifts. Responsibilities include all triage, labor management, deliveries, and NICU in-house. The position is 100% inpatient. PPG focuses on preventive care and patient education across a wide range of medical specialties, helping individuals maintain long-term health and manage complex conditions. Advanced Practice Providers apply the latest medical knowledge and collaborate closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure personalized, effective care at every stage of life. Requirements
- Master of Nursing (MSN) degree
- Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice as a Nurse Midwife in the state where care is provided.
- Certificate of Authority to practice is required
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) certification(s) applicable to the role (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS, etc.).
