About The Position
Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group is seeking an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife for per diem coverage at Sharp Mary Birch Hospital for Women & Newborns. This role involves providing care during labor and delivery, triage, and postpartum. The hospital is Southern California's only standalone women's hospital and delivers approximately 9,000 babies per year, the highest volume in California. The position offers full specialty back-up, including 24-hour perinatal and GYN/ONC services with dedicated OB anesthesia. On-call OBGYNs and OB hospitalists are always available, and an on-site overnight room is provided for the provider. The hospital also features Southern California's largest level III NICU and advanced care for high-risk pregnancies.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working full-time as a Certified Nurse Midwife in an inpatient setting
- Comfortable with both day and night shift coverage
- 12-hour shifts
