About The Position

The Certified Nurse Midwife functions as a primary healthcare provider for women, offering medical care for uncomplicated births and their neonates, including ante-partum, intra-partum, postpartum, and nonsurgical gynecological care. The Nurse Practitioner will provide ambulatory primary care for out-patients with chronic medical conditions and acute episodic illnesses. Clinical activities encompass physical examinations, health and psychological history-taking, clinical evaluation, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing and implementing treatment plans, and patient education as per the Practice Agreement.

Requirements

Master’s Degree in Nursing.
Current unrestricted MN License.
Current registration certificate of DEA.
American Midwifery Board Certification.
American Nurses Credentialing Center Certification.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent Interpersonal skills.
Keen attention to detail.
Intermediate technology skills.

Nice To Haves

Family Nurse Practitioner and Midwifery experience preferred.
