About The Position

Requirements

Current Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) license in the State of Illinois
Master’s degree from an ACME-accredited nurse-midwifery program
Minimum 1 year of midwifery experience preferred, but strong new graduates encouraged to apply
BLS and NRP certification required

Responsibilities

Provide full-scope midwifery care to low-risk obstetric and gynecologic patients
Manage prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care
Participate in hospital deliveries and rounds
Educate and counsel patients on family planning, wellness, and preventative care
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care
