Certified Nurse Assistant
About The Position
CNS Cares is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant to provide direct, one-on-one care to clients in their homes. The role supports veterans, workers’ compensation claimants, and former energy workers who want to remain independent and comfortable at home. The position assists clients with daily living activities, including ambulation, exercise, personal care, homemaker services, and dietary needs. The assistant also reports changes in clients’ conditions and needs and completes appropriate records. Part-time hours and day-shift availability are indicated; the posting also says full-time and part-time shifts are available.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Certified Nurse Aide.
- Valid driver’s license.
- CPR/First Aid certification.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Background checks include criminal background screening, drug screening/TB test, driving record review, OIG Exclusion List review, and Sex Offender Registry check.
Responsibilities
- Assist assigned clients with daily living activities, including ambulation, exercise, personal care, homemaker services, and dietary needs.
- Support clients’ independence and comfort in their homes.
- Report changes in clients’ conditions and needs.
- Complete appropriate records.
- Promote personal safety and a safe environment for clients.
- Maintain compliance with agency policies, procedures, and job requirements.
