Requirements

• No Degree or any other education earned (Required)
• AHCA Background Screening (AHCA) - State of Florida (FL)
• BLS American Heart E-Card (BLS AHA ECARD) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART)
• BLS Cert American Heart_non ecard (BLS AHA) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART)
• Certified Nursing Assistant License (CNA LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL)
• Requires critical thinking skills, effective communication skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming and eating.
• Reports abnormal assessment findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
• Performs basic patient/resident care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN or LPN, including monitoring vital signs, taking blood glucose measurements, performing basic phlebotomy, and recording intake and output.
• Assists with keeping patient rooms stocked, clean, and orderly.
