CNA Certified Nurse Assistant FT Nights
About The Position
VibraLife is a rehabilitation center and senior living community in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, comprising a short-term rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility and an assisted living unit. The facility provides an integrated continuum of care for patients and residents recovering from injury or illness. The Certified Nurse Assistant assists licensed nursing personnel with patient care. This includes providing and documenting activities of daily living, personal hygiene and grooming, and maintaining a clean, healthy, and safe environment. The CNA uses basic infection-control procedures and basic nutrition and fluid-intake skills, and recognizes and responds to emergency situations. This is a full-time night-shift position, with 12-hour shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; two years of experience as a Nurse Aide or other relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education.
- Current, valid, and active certification to practice as a Nursing Assistant, as applicable in the state of employment.
- Ability to project a professional image.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
- Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
Nice To Haves
- Acute care or LTAC experience preferred.
