About The Position

Come work for St. Agnes Home as a Certified Nurse Assistant with the wonderful Carmelite Sisters of the Divine Heart of Jesus located conveniently in Kirkwood at the corner of Woodlawn and Manchester Road! We offer a peaceful, loving, clean, family-oriented environment where we care for BOTH our Residents AND our Staff. Certified Nurse Assistants are responsible for performing various resident care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of the residents. The Certified Nurse Assistant maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control standards. The Certified Nurse Assistant acts with integrity and in the best interest of St. Agnes Home and identifies instances of non-compliance and takes appropriate action. The Certified Nurse Assistant strives to incorporate the philosophy and mission of St. Agnes Home and to incorporate the goal of quality care in a personal manner with total regard for the individual human dignity.

Requirements

Current certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant, in good standing, in the State of Missouri
Must understand English in both verbal and written forms and be understood
Must be able to perform the physical function of Certified Nurse Assistant with reasonable accommodations as required by federal or state law.
Basic computer skills
Must successfully pass the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) criminal background check.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Must be able to provide applicable documentation(s) for I-9 in order to establish identity and authorization to work in the US.
Must have valid driver’s license, personal automobile liability insurance, and acceptable driving record (if required to drive).

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working with the elderly is preferred
