About The Position
Now Hiring: CNA/NA/PCA – Essex House Assisted Living. We are looking for compassionate caregivers to join our dedicated team at Essex House, where we provide top-quality assisted living services in a supportive, home-like environment. This is a part-time position with flexible shifts available, specifically needing coverage for 1st and 3rd shifts.
Requirements
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Virginia ID
- SS card
- 2 professional references
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or personal care preferred
- A kind heart, patience, and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, etc.)
- Provide medication reminders and monitor overall well-being
- Support mobility and transfer needs
- Engage residents in activities and social interactions
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
