About The Position

Radford Green at Sedgebrook is recruiting a hospitality-focused Certified Nurse Assistant to provide direct nursing care to residents and delegate and supervise care provided by Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants. The community offers private rooms and a described beautiful environment with tenured staff. The position is PRN and non-exempt, with a listed pay rate of $20–$26 per hour for SNF, based on experience, plus a shift differential after 3 PM. Available 12-hour shifts are 6:30 AM–7 PM and 7 PM–7:30 PM.

Requirements

• Successful completion of an Illinois State-approved nursing assistant training program.
• Registration with the Illinois State registry is required.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
• Ability to document care given.

Nice To Haves

• Prior geriatric nursing aide experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting, and exercising.
• Give treatments, perform tests, carry out procedures, and collect specimens as instructed.
• Report and record observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures, and specimens when indicated.
• Transfer, transport, and escort residents as needed.
• Answer signal lights promptly.
• Change bed linens, make beds, and keep rooms clean and orderly.
• Delegate and supervise care provided by Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants.
