About The Position
Radford Green at Sedgebrook is recruiting a hospitality-focused Certified Nurse Assistant to provide direct nursing care to residents and delegate and supervise care provided by Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants. The community features private rooms and a beautiful environment with tenured staff. The role is PRN and non-exempt, with an every-other-weekend schedule from 3 PM to 11 PM. The stated SNF pay rate is $20–$26 per hour based on experience, with a $1.50 shift differential.
Requirements
- Successfully complete an Illinois State-approved nursing assistant training program.
- Be registered with the Illinois State registry.
- Understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
- Be able to document care given.
Nice To Haves
- Prior geriatric nursing aide experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting, and exercising.
- Give treatments, perform tests, carry out procedures, and collect specimens as instructed.
- Report and record observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures, and specimens when indicated.
- Transfer, transport, and escort residents as needed.
- Answer signal lights promptly.
- Change bed linens, make beds, and keep rooms clean and orderly.
- Delegate and supervise care provided by Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants.
