About The Position
Inspired by the teachings of Jesus Christ, the mission of Cardinal Ritter Senior Services is to be a recognized provider in giving person centered care through an integrated continuum of quality residential, healthcare, and supportive social services for senior adults throughout the Archdiocese of Saint Louis. Functions as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA).
Requirements
- Must have completed the State of Missouri Certified Nurse Assistant training program and be in good standing in the State of Missouri.
- Must be CPR certified or willing to be certified.
Responsibilities
- Administers nursing care to residents based on the plan of care and under the direct supervision of charge personnel.
- Reports to Charge nurse at the beginning of the shift for assignment and report.
- Performs and assists residents with personal activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing.
- Reports immediately to the DON and Administrator if there is Abuse & Neglect of a Resident.
- Works assigned hall and does not vacate Hall for any reason without Charge Nurse or Supervisory approval.
- Communicates with Charge Nurse or Supervisor prior to taking breaks.
- Organizes work to utilize time properly by identifying priorities, planning, and working with co-workers.
- Maintains good housekeeping standards in residents’ rooms and work areas.
- Answers all Call Lights promptly.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
