About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) works under the delegated authority of a registered nurse to perform nursing functions within the CNA’s scope of practice and to assist a nurse in collecting data for a nursing assessment under the nurse’s supervision. The role is in the Acute Care unit in Germantown, Maryland, on a 12-hour night shift, with a stated schedule of 24 hours weekly. The CNA may be assigned to function as either a Health Unit Coordinator or Nursing Assistant. The position offers competitive pay and opportunities to advance within the organization.

Requirements

Current licensure by the Maryland State Board for Certified Nursing Assistant.
High school diploma.
BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association.
Computer and audiovisual skills using applications and technologies including the Internet, email, word processing, wireless phone, and pager.
Ability to obtain and retrieve data.
Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize.
Ability to work well with individuals and groups.

Responsibilities
