About The Position
As a critical care partner on the Nursing Team, the Certified Nurse Assistant is an essential part of everyday care planning and implementation of individualized resident health needs. The role provides or assists with residents’ basic personal hygiene and activities of daily living, delivering care that supports residents’ social, emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical well-being. The organization offers opportunities for people pursuing a career as a CNA or a career path in nursing.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Colorado State Certified Nursing Assistant license.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Nice To Haves
- Three to six months of long-term care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide residents’ daily hygiene care.
- Learn residents’ preferences to personalize the care delivered.
- Document accurately and promptly report discrepancies to appropriate personnel.
- Know and properly apply safety, infection control, and risk management procedures.
- Communicate regularly with the immediate supervisor about residents’ status and condition.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
