This position is for the Cardiac department, specifically in the 300 West Tower South, and operates on a night shift. The role involves providing basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff, including taking vital signs, assisting with bathing and dressing, moving patients, changing linens, and other assigned duties. The individual will also gather information on patient condition and report any changes to the nursing staff. For qualified candidates, there is a sign-on bonus of up to $1,800, up to 24 hours of front-loaded Paid Time Off, and a relocation bonus of up to $3,000. A career ladder is also available. The Nurse Assistant Training Program is designed for individuals to obtain training as unlicensed assistive personnel within a classroom and clinical learning environment. While in the clinical setting, trainees will provide basic patient care under supervision and may perform duties within their scope of practice. A competency assessment will be administered at the end of the training.
