About The Position
CoxHealth is seeking a part-time Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) for their Ambulatory Infusion department. This role involves providing basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff. Responsibilities include taking vital signs, assisting with bathing, dressing, and patient mobility, changing linens, and other assigned duties. The CNA will also gather information on patient condition as requested by nursing staff and report any changes observed. The position is scheduled for 16 hours per week, with shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and is a day shift role.
Requirements
- MO CNA License OR must have MO CNA Appendix AND MO CNA license must be obtained within 120 days of hire
- BLS within 90 days of hire
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exhibits valuable time management skills.
- Strong analytical/problem solving skills.
- Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment.
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care under direction of nursing staff.
- Perform duties such as take vitals, bathe, dress, move patients, change linens and other duties as assigned.
