About The Position

Northeast Georgia Rehabilitation Hospital is a 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital treating people recovering from severe injury or illness. Its customized rehabilitation programs serve patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. The hospital emphasizes respect, collaboration, staff support, professional growth, and exceptional patient care.

The Certified Nursing Assistant provides essential support to nursing staff by performing basic patient-care duties, assisting patients with activities of daily living, and helping maintain a safe and clean environment. More complex duties are performed under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. This is a part-time night-shift role, scheduled 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Requirements

• Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant Course.
• Current state CNA certification.
• Current CPR/BCLS certification.

Nice To Haves

• At least six months of experience in an acute-care or long-term-care facility is preferred.

Responsibilities
