Visiting Angels is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) for a rewarding career with flexible scheduling options. The role offers the ability to work as much or as little as desired. This position is in immediate need of individuals with Monday - Friday and Weekend Availability.

Requirements

Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification
Monday - Friday availability
Weekend availability
Ability to pass extensive background checks
Ability to pass pre-employment drug test screenings

Responsibilities

Assist care recipient with personal hygiene, including shower, tub or bed bath and mouth, skin and hair care.
Assist care recipient in use of toilet facilities, including bedpans.
Assist care recipient in and out of bed, including the use of mechanical lifting equipment when applicable.
Assist care recipient with walking, including use of walker and wheelchair when applicable.
Remind or prompt for care recipient self-administration of medications.
Assist with meal preparation and feeding when required.
Remind client to perform prescribed exercises that are ordered from a licensed Physical Therapist.
Measure and record fluid intake and output if required.
Perform light housekeeping duties.
Accompany or transport care recipient to appointments or for errands if required.
Record and report changes in the care recipient’s physical condition, behavior or appearance to the designated supervisor.
Document services delivered in accordance with agency care records, policies and procedures and submit weekly to the Visiting Angels office.
