About The Position
EMPRO Staffing is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team at a long-term care nursing facility in Elmhurst, NY. Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Experience as a CNA
- Must be available to work every other weekend
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with transfers, repositioning, ambulation, and other mobility needs
- Assist residents with meals and hydration
- Take and record vital signs as directed
- Observe residents and report changes in condition to nursing staff
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
- Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support
- Follow individualized care plans and facility procedures
- Work closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals as part of the care team
